From a technical capability to an MVP

Tamarin focused on applying cryptographic privacy-preserving computation to health data. My work sat between the underlying technology and the product: understanding the technical approach with the people developing it, scoping the architecture, and documenting how the pieces would fit together.

My contributions

Define the product with the technical team

I led technical scoping of the product architecture with faculty from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pennsylvania, alongside corporate partner Ligero. I authored integration documentation that became the source of truth for the MVP.

Deliverable: Product architecture scope and MVP integration documentation

Make complex technical work legible

I wrote technical progress reports for the National Science Foundation, translating cryptographic and product developments into clear accounts for non-specialist stakeholders. I also helped leadership prepare messaging for presentations to congressional representatives.

Deliverable: NSF progress reports and stakeholder communications

Support the conditions for delivery

I identified and secured more than $130,000 in accelerator and non-dilutive grant funding. My advisory work also covered technology evaluation, technical hiring, and translating concepts between cryptography, engineering, and health-data use cases.

Deliverable: $130K+ in funding, technology evaluation, and hiring support
